Lighting
Proper lighting installation saves you money and improves how your home looks and feels. Michael can provide a variety of high-quality options, and can also install lighting fixtures that you have purchased independently. He will always be honest and clear regarding the suitability of lights for the area you wish to use them. Michael wants you to be totally satisfied with the lighting provided as well as the fittings themselves.
Wiring
Any time you are dealing with electricity, you need a certified expert. Anything less simply isn't safe. Michael will come to your house and handle all your wiring needs, so you have guaranteed peace of mind. Whether it is something small like changing a socket, or to carry out a complete install of electrics to your new build or renovation, you can trust him to provide a high quality, cost effective solution.
Fault Finding
When your electric goes off and it's not a power cut, how do you know what caused it and how to fix it? You don't, which is where an experienced electrician comes in. Michael can sometimes give you instruction over the phone, to help get your electric working again, then book an appointment to come and fix it permanently. He can also visit you as an emergency call out, depending on the circumstances.
Inspection & Testing
Does my property require an inspection? There are a number of reasons why it might, such as:
- If you are selling a property you own
- Insurance renewal
- If you rent a property out you will need a “Landlord Certificate”
- If your property hasn't been tested in the last 10 years
- If your property has an internal electrical fault
Following inspection and testing, you will be given a certificate of inspection. If your electrics do not meet the legal requirements Michael will discuss the remedial work that needs to be completed in order to obtain the certificate and work with you to find the best solution.
Fuse Boards
Installing, upgrading or removing a fuse board in your premises is a major job. You may need to upgrade to meet current legislation, or you need a second or larger fuse board to add an extension or power your summerhouse. This is never something you should attempt, always ask a qualified and registered electrician. Michael is highly experienced in this area, so please call him for more information and to discuss your needs
Smoke Alarm systems
Smoke alarms are a life saver and having them fitted in the correct places in your home or premises is vital in protecting your family and employees. It is a legal requirement to have a linked smoke alarms in rental properties and business premises, so make sure you are covered. Michael happy to visit your premises to give recommendations before fitting.
